i have some questions about a cub cadet lt1050 23hp with a 50 in mowing deck, its only a few ears old.?
i plowed snow with it over the winter and everything was working fine before that but now i have a few problems.
When i engage the PTO blade the motot cuts and it doesnt engage
the steering is sometimes very hard to turn i have no idea why, but other times it works fine
i would like to know why these things have happened and how i might go about fixing them, its okay if you only have one of the answers, or even a suggestion ill take anything. thanks in advanced
also i just replaced the battery
Love my Cub Cadet.
Check that the blades aren’t being interferred with – foreign object, or something jamming, preventing engagement. (Could be rust somewhere from road salt.) Check the drive belt.
Grease the steering mechanism (possibly blades too.)
Change spark plug (mine went after 45 hours of use, (champion RC12YC)
