How do I drain the oil in a Craftsman lawn mower with Briggs and Straton engine?
It’s about 2 years old. Not sure the correct way to drain the oil.
In the underside/blade compartment of the mower is a drain plug…….remove it after cleaning grass buildup in the cavity…..let the oil drain out. Will drain quicker if you also remove the oil filler cap after removing the plug. Let drain until runs dry……..Then replace the drain plug, add recommended oil for lawn mowers to proper level, replace filler cap………Starter up…….
