my snapper snow blower changes to a higher speed on its own is there any way to repair this?
its is the ground speed
The belt is heating up as you use it and gripping better,and the gear box oil is heating up and getting thinner, so less friction.
OR are you saying it jumps into a completely higher gear? You will have to tighten the detents or increase the spring pressure on the linkage to keep it in its’ detents
